We offer a nitric acid stainless steel passivation process. The process removes surface impurities and stimulates the development of an oxide film upon the part. The film then protects the components from hazards such as rust and corrosion. Before passivation, parts are stripped and cleaned. However, stainless steel must be of a good quality to have a nice surface finish.
