Chromic Anodising

Chromic Anodise, like its counterparts, offers a protective treatment for aluminium parts. The standard thickness is around 2 microns thick. If left unsealed, Chromic Anodise is often used as a pre-treatment for painting. Hot water sealing is also available. Please note that this solution contains hexavalent chromium, meaning that Chromic Anodise is not ROHS compliant. The usage of this process is slowly being phased out; with sulphuric anodising being an excellent alternative.

Advantages of Chromic Anodise:

  • Good corrosion resistance
  • Good painting base
  • Ideal process for castings

Tank Sizes: 5ft x 3ft x 3ft
